Born: November 22, 1984
Birth Place: New York, New York
Nationality: American
At the age of eight, Johansson appeared in Sophistry, an off-Broadway play.
As a child star she had roles in movies as Laura in Rob Reiner's North, and Kate, Sean Connery's daughter in Just Cause.
In 1996 she performed as a young girl who escapes a foster home in Manny and Lo.
A more grown up role was given to her in Terry Zwigoff's Ghost World starring together with Thora Birch.
In 1998 she had a role as Grace in The Horse Whisperer directed by Robert Redford,
who also played a role in the film.
She also had short appearances in If Lucy Fell and Home Alone 3 and played in the television pilot The Client for CBS.
