The Covenant Movie Story - Synopsis. In 1692, five families with strange powers formed a covenant. One family that wanted more, was banished. Their bloodline disappeared Until now. THE COVENANT tells the story of the Sons of Ipswich, at The Spenser Academy, a boarding school for the elite, where four young students are bound by their sacred ancestry. As descendants of the original families, the boys have all been born with special powers. When a fifth descendant suddenly turns up, secrets begin to unravel which threaten to break the covenant that has protected them for hundreds of years.
