SpellForce 2 Shadow Wars Game Story - Synopsis. For five years the war around the mysterious Shadows sundered the country of the Dark Elves and a civil war amongst them is about to begin. Even beyond the borders of their territories there is unrest: a new power rises in Eo, a threat that seems to spread its shadow over the whole realm and endangers the people's alliances. The Gameplay: On an overall design level, there's been a shift towards the RPG side. There are more maps which involve small battles, or trips into abandoned mines and the like with only your party members for company. Furthermore, the game has a lot of sub-quests, some of the more standard 'kill this' or 'get that' variety, and some with riddles and puzzles to solve, or choices to be made. |
