Confetti Movie Story - Synopsis. The movie charts the voyage of three couples as they try to win the title of having the Most Original Wedding of the Year. Editors Carr and Montagu of Confetti magazine are nervous, because of the contest. The three couples want to win a huge house in order to win they will hold theme weddings. Matt (Martin Freeman) and Sam (Jessica Stevenson) are trying to imitate a Broadway musical; Michael and Joanna are naturists who to be as God created them; and with their tennis theme, the third couple refuses to be outdone.
