Barnyard Movie Story - Synopsis. The farmer keeping his animals safe and sound, thinks he's in charge. But when he is out of sight, all of the barnyard animals get up watch TV, make jokes walk on two legs and talk to eachother. Otis the cow likes to make practical jokes together with Pip the mouse, Freddy the ferret, Peck the rooster and Pig the pig. Otis is = quite happy the way he lives. Dad, Ben, is the cow who makes sure the farm is running well. Ben leads a meeting to take care of farm business each morning and warn the other animals about their common enemy, the coyotes. Ben wants his son to grow up and take responsibility. To Ben's chagrin, Otis's main activity comes to life every evening. As soon as the Farmer is asleep, the barn becomes a Party Central. One night, a pretty new cow, Daisy arrives. Otis falls in love with her, and she is attracted to him. That's not Ben's world. Outside he's protecting the farm from the coyotes. When Otis explains being on watch isn't what he wants. When Ben is no longer able to lead, Otis has to be the leader which is not an easy role for him. chaos breaks loose and the farmer discovers the animals secret--and the coyotes begin to think that the farm could be conquered. This tale is a laugh-out-loud for all ages. Wanda Sykes voices Bessy, Daisy’s cynical cow friend, and Danny Glover voices Miles the Mule, a sage elder on the farm. The music by Peter Gabriel and Tom Petty, makes the soundtrack above the usual children’s film. |
