Annapolis Movie Synopsis. Everything Jake has ever hoped for is at stake, the chance to have a proud father, the opportunity to fight for a better future and the chance to stand up for his fellow plebes. Each year approximately 50,000 youngsters apply to enter the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis. Only 1,200 are accepted, even fewer will go on to survive the Academy’s path of discipline and devotion to become the leaders, heroes and elite of the US Navy. Filled with the most heightened hopes, ambitions, dreams, rivalries and hunger, Annapolis has an intense collegiate atmosphere. Directed by director Justin Lin who directed Better Luck Tomorrow, comes with this exhilarating comeback story of a courageous young sailor who discovers that some opportunities in life are worth fighting for. Jake's fellow classmates are comprised of a dynamic young cast that includes Jordana Brewster as the alluringly tough, female commander who helps to train Jake; Donnie Wahlberg as Lt. Cmdr.
